BCCI President Roger Binny praised Captain Rohit Sharma for his leadership and commended his patience in leading India to victory in the five-match series against England.
Despite losing the opening game by 28 runs in Hyderabad, India made a remarkable comeback, winning three games in a row.
Binny noted that Sharma's patient approach was a masterstroke.
During an interview with PTI in Dharamsala, Binny stated that England maintained their aggressive playing style, while Rohit displayed patience and secured victories in Vizag, Rajkot, and Ranchi.
“I don’t think England changed their plans after the first Test. I think Rohit was more pateint. He had the first Test in his pocket but let it go And he played the next three Tests and won three.”
