Brad Hogg predicts a bright future for the 23-year-old Indian cricketer, and it's not Sarfaraz Khan!

Former Australian spin legend Brad Hogg has predicted a bright future for young Indian wicketkeeper Dhruv Jurel. Following Jurel's impressive debut performance in the ongoing Test series against England, Hogg made the prediction.

Jurel received his cap from fellow wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot ahead of the third Test. Although he missed out on a half-century, Jurel still managed to score 46 runs and made significant contributions behind the stumps. He even executed an exceptional run-out of Ben Duckett, which turned the tide in favour of Team India early in the second innings.

Hogg, who was a keen observer of Jurel's performance, was full of praise for the youngster and was very impressed with him. In a video on his YouTube channel, Hogg expressed his thoughts:

“I find Jurel highly impressive. While I sympathise with Bharat, Jurel brings more to the table both as a batsman and behind the stumps. His future looks promising, contingent on Pant’s complete recovery and participation in all three formats.”

Jurel made a significant impact with his contributions. However, England faced difficulties due to the outstanding performance of another young Indian star, Yashasvi Jaiswal. Jaiswal scored his second consecutive double century in this series, leaving England unable to cope with India's impressive batting prowess. England's strategy of quick scoring to provide sufficient time for their bowling attack backfired.

England is aware of India's talented youngsters but they are playing their style of cricket. The team’s aim was to score quickly to give their bowlers time for a 20-wicket haul. But the young Jaiswal proved to be a stumbling block and he, along with Sarfaraz, put England under pressure with their aggressive batting.
