Brother of Hardik Pandya arrested in Rs 4.3 crore fraud case

India's top all-rounder and captain of the Mumbai Indians (MI), Hardik Pandya, is going through a difficult period in his personal and professional life. In the ongoing IPL 2024, Hardik is struggling to perform both as a player and as captain of Mumbai Indians (MI).

It seems things are not going well for him personally these days either. Allegations of fraud and financial misconduct involving the MI captain and his brother Krunal Pandya have led to the arrest of Vaibhav Pandya, Hardik's cousin.

Hardik Pandya, Krunal, and Vaibhav own a polymer business through their partnership company. Hardik and Krunal each own 40% of the company, while Vaibhav owns the remaining 20%. However, the eldest cousin, Vaibhav, has now been arrested on charges of cheating and forgery in connection with the company.

Vaibhav, who is older than Hardik, is accused of embezzlement and mishandling a substantial amount of 4.3 crore. He was reportedly arrested on these serious charges after Hardik and Krunal complained about him.

The three started a polymer company in 2021. However, Vaibhav then started a similar business. He failed to inform Hardik and Krunal and was arrested for money laundering and breach of contract.
