CSK has a better head-to-head record against RCB

Mustafizur Rahman's array of clever variations helped set up the win for CSK by restricting RCB to 173-6. Ravindra Jadeja and Shivam Dube then sealed a comfortable six-wicket win with some superb finishing skills to complete the scoring.

CSK remained unbeaten against RCB at home since 2008, extending their impressive home record.

Mustafizur claimed his best-ever IPL figures of 4/29 and was instrumental in limiting RCB. The only relief for the visitors came in the form of a 95-run partnership for the sixth wicket between Anuj Rawat (48 off 25) and Dinesh Karthik (38* off 26).
