Former cricketer Rohit Sharma has died at the age of 40

Former Rajasthan player Rohit Sharma has died at the age of 40. He was admitted to the hospital and was undergoing treatment for liver-related issues. Sharma was an aggressive batter and even bowled leg-spin.

He played 7 Classes, 28 List A and 4 T20's for Rajasthan, scoring 1147 runs and taking 7 wickets in his career.

Additionally, he was involved in coaching with RS Cricket Academy, which he owned.

He made his debut for Rajasthan in a Ranji Trophy match against Services in 2004. He played his last match in the Vijay Hazare Trophy in 2014.
