Gavaskar explains why MI is the most dangerous team

After losing three consecutive games in the Indian Premier League 2024, the Mumbai Indians have returned to winning ways. Despite being beaten by the Gujarat Titans, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Rajasthan Royals, the five-time champions have bounced back with impressive victories over the Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Their most recent game against RCB was particularly noteworthy, as they chased down a target of 197 in just 15.3 overs at the Wankhede Stadium.

Jasprit Bumrah took five wickets, while Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav scored aggressive fifties. Mumbai has four points from five games and is looking dangerous.

Former India captain Rohan Gavaskar highlighted why Hardik Pandya's side are so dangerous:

“If you look at other teams, they have one X-factor player in the squad. And now, if you compare it with Mumbai Indians, they are six or seven X-factor players. Jasprit Bumrah is one of them. He is the best in their bowling line-up.”
