Hyderabad will bat first after losing the toss to Bengaluru, Maxwell and Siraj have been dropped

Faf du Plessis won the toss and opted to bowl first in his side's 2024 Indian Premier League match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. "The pitch is two-paced. We haven't played well this season and the players are struggling. We are trying to give opportunities to other players. Glenn Maxwell and Mohammed Siraj are not playing," said Faf du Plessis.

Pat Cummins would have also chosen to bowl first. He explained that the pitch is favourable for batting and even a score of 240 is considered average. Despite losing two games, the team has been performing well this season and they are sticking with the same lineup.
