IND vs BAN, 2nd Test: India Announced Playing XIs
In the second Test of the two-match series between India and Bangladesh at Green Park Stadium, Kanpur, India won the toss and chose to bowl first on Friday, September 27. The toss was delayed by 30 minutes due to overnight rain and overcast conditions. With rain predicted for the first three days of the match, the weather likely influenced both teams’ selections for their playing XIs.
The big talking point ahead of the game was Shakib Al Hasan's surprise announcement. The Bangladesh all-rounder revealed that the Kanpur Test might be the last of his career. Shakib also shared that he has already played his final T20I and has requested a farewell Test at home. If his request isn’t granted, this Test will be his final appearance.
The match will begin at 10:30 am, with sessions scheduled from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, 1:10 pm to 3:10 pm, and 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
