Later in the same video, Pant was described as a player with a distinctive style and unmatched charisma. This post quickly went viral, leaving fans convinced that Pooran might don the captain’s hat in the upcoming tournament.

The IPL 2025 Mega Auction was nothing short of historic, featuring unprecedented deals and record-smashing bids. Lucknow Super Giants shelled out Rs 27 crore for Pant, while a 13-year-old prodigy, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, became the youngest player ever signed in IPL history, joining Rajasthan Royals for Rs 1.10 crore after a bidding war with Delhi Capitals.
