Team India is preparing for their fourth clash against England in the series, scheduled for February 23 in Ranchi.
Unfortunately, star pacer Jasprit Bumrah will miss the match.
India arrived in Ranchi for the test, but Bumrah did not travel with the team.
Due to workload management, it was anticipated that Bumrah would be rested for the fourth match of the series. The star bowler has already bowled over 80 overs in the six innings of the test match.
Jasprit Bumrah has taken 17 wickets in three test matches and has been consistently impressive throughout the series. He has effectively taken wickets for Team India whenever required and has been able to break partnerships at crucial stages of the match.
Bumrah was exceptional in the second test match in Vizag, taking nine wickets. This helped India secure a victory in the match.
It will be intriguing to see what kind of pitch will be prepared for the fourth India-England clash in the series, now that Bumrah is absent.
Additionally, it remains to be seen which players Team India will select for the test match. Mukesh Kumar and Akashdeep are in the running to replace the star bowler.
