Kuldeep Yadav commends his brother Yuzvendra Chahal for taking three wickets against Mumbai Indians

Yuzvendra Chahal is the highest wicket-taker in the history of the Indian Premier League. He demonstrated his skill in the IPL 2024 match between Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium, taking three wickets from his four overs. Despite being excluded by the Indian selectors and management, he has not lost his ability to take wickets.

Kuldeep Yadav, who has won numerous games for India alongside Chahal, took to social media to praise his colleague.

Chahal bowled with precision on the flat track of the Wankhede, troubling the opposition with changes in pace and variations. He conceded only 11 runs off 24 balls.

Hardik Pandya, who had been looking dangerous, became Chahal's first scalp. The MI captain attempted to hit the spinner for a six but was caught in the long-on region by Rovman Powell. Pandya scored 34 off 21 balls.

Chahal also dismissed Tilak Varma, who had scored 32 off 29 deliveries.

Gerald Coetzee, who was attempting to form a partnership with Tim David, became the third victim of the champion spinner.

Kuldeep, who has frequently attributed his success to Chahal, was pleased with his impressive spell against the five-time champions:

“Deceiving the batters 👏🏻 Well bowled @yuzi_chahal brother ♥️”

Hardik’s team was restricted to 125/9. Trent Boult did the damage early on in the innings, accounting for the wickets of Rohit Sharma (0), Naman Dhir (0), and Dewald Brevis (0). Boult, who once played for Mumbai Indians, was brilliant.

Nandre Burger also took two wickets for the 2008 champions.
