Lucknow skipper KL Rahul wins the toss, opts to bat first

Lucknow Super Giants captain KL Rahul won the toss and elected to bat first against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League 2024:

“The pitch looks good and a few big scores have been achieved over here. We want to put Hyderabad under pressure by batting first. Our remaining games are not at home but we know a bit about the conditions. Playing at home gives you crowd support but we are not too concerned. Our focus is to score heavily in the powerplay overs and that takes it forward from there on.”

Pat Cummins would have batted first because SRH has won matches there batting first and chasing.
