Markhors achieves a 126-run victory against the Stallions

In a match marked by dramatic shifts, Zahid Mahmood, Salman Agha, and Iftikhar Ahmed played pivotal roles in leading the Markhors to a decisive 126-run victory against the Stallions. Both teams faced significant setbacks, but the Stallions' collapse from 79 for 2 to 105 all out, losing eight wickets for just 26 runs, proved fatal.

The Markhors posted 231 all out, bolstered by Iftikhar's 60 and Agha's 51. Meanwhile, the Stallions crumbled under pressure chasing a tournament-low target. Emirates' bowlers excelled, with Mahmood claiming five wickets for just 18 runs, with Agha's impressive 3 for 21 further sealing the Stallions' fate.

Initially, it appeared the Stallions were on track for a successful chase, especially when Babar Azam crushed five boundaries in an over from Shahnawaz Dahani, helping them reach 50 runs in just nine overs. However, the match shifted dramatically when Shan Masood was dismissed after misplaying a delivery from Naseem Shah that led to his stumps.

Feeling the pressure, the Stallions' momentum quickly evaporated, as they lost their next eight wickets in a mere 53 balls. Captain Mohammad Haris was unable to halt the slide, and the chase that once seemed manageable ended in a comprehensive defeat.

In the first innings, Markhors began on shaky ground, losing early wickets, with Jahandad Khan taking 4 for 49 and dismissing Fakhar Zaman for 20. Captain Mohammad Rizwan and his team found themselves precariously placed at 38 for 3. However, the Markhors recovered, forming three key half-century partnerships to stabilize their innings. Unfortunately, a string of quick wickets towards the end resulted in a disappointing finish, with the last five falling for just 10 runs.

Despite the shaky start, the Markhors' bowlers ensured that the total was more than enough, maintaining their perfect record in the tournament.
