Pat Cummins praises the forgotten hero of Team India for his bowling against the RR

SRH captain Pat Cummins heaped praise on veteran bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar after he bowled an exciting final over to give SRH a much-needed win against Rajasthan Royals. Bhuvneshwar dismissed Rovman Powell with a low full toss when RR needed two off the last ball to leave them at 200 for seven chasing a total of 202.

Cummins took to Instagram to praise Kumar for his heroics in securing a last-ball victory against RR. He captioned: "Love playing alongside this bloke! Brilliant fight back with bat and ball to secure a brilliant win."

Pat Cummins was ecstatic as SRH snapped a two-match losing streak:

“That was a spectacular game, anything can happen in T20 cricket. Bhuvi bowled a fantastic last over. Natrajan also bowls some great yorkers. We wanted some wickets in the middle and we got them.”

Pat Cummins bowled a tight 19th over, conceding just 7 runs.

SRH got off to a perfect start in the second innings with Bhuvneshwar Kumar taking the wickets of Jos Buttler and RR skipper Sanju Samson. However, a couple of dropped catches put them in a tricky position. RR was able to refocus and build an effective partnership thanks to the bowlers who made the Hyderabad side feel the heat again.

SRH's bowlers showed their resilience and were able to break the partnership between Yashasvi Jaiswal and Riyan Parag which caused the shift in momentum.

With just 20 runs needed from the last two overs, Pat Cummins and Bhuvneshwar Kumar produced an incredible performance under extreme pressure to set up a thrilling finish. Their brilliant performance not only ended their losing streak but also catapulted SRH to fourth place in the IPL points table.
