Raza has accumulated a remarkable record in Zimbabwe

All-rounder Sikandar Raza is widely regarded as one of Zimbabwe's greatest cricket talents. Since making his debut in 2013, Raza has accumulated a remarkable record, featuring in 17 Tests, 142 ODIs, and 91 T20Is, delivering numerous memorable performances. His impact extends beyond international cricket to domestic leagues such as the Indian Premier League (IPL) and Pakistan Super League (PSL).

In a recent social media interaction, Raza, who hails from Sialkot, Pakistan, was asked about the possibility of representing Pakistan. Responding on Twitter, Raza reaffirmed his commitment to Zimbabwe Cricket, stating, "I will only and ever represent Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe has invested time and resources in me, and I am dedicated to repaying their faith. Whatever I achieve will never fully repay it. Zimbabwe is mine, and I am theirs completely."

When asked to name his favourite bowler and batter, Raza mentioned several players, including India’s Jasprit Bumrah, Pakistan’s Shaheen Afridi, and former West Indies all-rounder Sunil Narine.

Recently, Raza captained Zimbabwe in a five-match T20I series against India. Despite taking a 1-0 lead, Zimbabwe ultimately lost the series 4-1.

In terms of statistics, Raza has scored 1,187 runs and taken 34 wickets in Test matches. In ODIs, he has amassed 4,154 runs, while in T20Is, he has accumulated 2,037 runs in 91 games.
