RCB teammate Karn Sharma received a dressing-down from Virat Kohli for losing his cool

Virat Kohli publicly criticized RCB teammate Karn Sharma for conceding a six in his first over against the Gujarat Titans. During the first strategic time-out break, Virat became visibly upset and was observed reprimanding the spinner. Sharma was obliged to comply with the veteran's instructions, but he felt insulted by the incident, which occurred in front of all the players.

Sharma has participated in just four games during the 17th season. He was subsequently removed from the playing XI following the contest against Chennai Super Kings. Following the underperformance of the part-time tweakers, Sharma was recalled for the game against Kolkata Knight Riders. He retained his position in the line-up for the games against Sunrisers Hyderabad and Gujarat Titans.

Despite the impressive batting performance by Kohli, the Bengaluru-based franchise has only won two matches and lost seven encounters. The right-handed batter has achieved 103 fifties, with his run tally exceeding 400.

RCB is almost out of contention for the playoffs in the ongoing season. Former India player Harbhajan Singh has requested that Virat be reinstated as captain of the franchise. He believes that Kohli can improve the team's performance.
