Rishabh Pant's response to a video of him thrashing Aakash Chopra and Simon Doull

If there was any doubt about Rishabh Pant's strike-rate and his ability to play attacking cricket till the end of an innings, the man has dispelled it. He played a breathtaking knock against Gujarat Titans, scoring 88 off 43 balls. The left-hander struck eight sixes and five fours to top 200.

He sealed his place in India's squad for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. Pant was named Player of the Match for his sensational batting as Delhi won by 4 runs on 224/4. The young wicketkeeper has already shown his prowess behind the stumps. In the previous match against the same franchise, he won the POTM award for his wicket-keeping, a first in the history of the tournament.

Aakash Chopra, Simon Doull, and others doubted him, but the player proved them all wrong.

He was responding to a viral video of a person hitting shots over the keeper's head with one hand and even with one of the stumps.

He wrote:

In the 17th season of the cash-rich league, Pant is third on the list of top run-getters. He has scored 342 runs in 9 matches so far. He has hit three fifties.
