Rohit Sharma enlists Rishabh Pant's assistance in educating Ben Duckett on his Bazball comment regarding Yashasvi Jaiswal
India captain Rohit Sharma criticised England opener Ben Duckett for his comments on Yashasvi Jaiswal. Ahead of the final Test match against the Ben Stokes-led team in Dharamshala, Sharma took issue with Duckett's suggestion that Jaiswal's aggressive batting in Test cricket was due to Bazball.
During the pre-match press conference, Rohit enlisted Rishabh Pant's help to remind the English opener about the importance of aggressive batting in red-ball cricket.
During the third Test match between the two teams in Rajkot, Yashasvi Jaiswal scored his second double-hundred of the series. Duckett credited Bazball for Jaiswal's impressive performance.
“I don’t know what is the meaning of Bazball. England are playing better cricket than they was here on their previous tour.”
