At the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Thursday 29 February, Royal Challengers Bangalore's Georgia Wareham reminded the fans of AB de Villiers. Patrolling the boundary rope, Wareham saved a certain six with a perfectly timed jump. It reminded many of former RCB player AB de Villiers.

During the 11th over of the Delhi Capitals innings, Shafali Verma hit Nadine de Klerk's delivery, which was on its way to a six. Georgia Wareham leapt to catch the ball and prevent it from crossing the boundary.
Apart from taking a save, Wareham also caught two catches. Delhi Capitals responded with a huge total of 194 runs for the loss of 5 wickets.
Shafali Verma scored her second half-century of the season. DC had scored 124 runs by the 15th over, and the carnage began in the last three overs, with Jess Jonassen and Marizanne Kapp attacking the RCB bowlers to add 48 runs in just 22 balls. Jonassen remained unbeaten on 36 off 16, while Kapp scored 32 off 16 before losing her wicket to Sophie Devine.
The first leg of the tournament was held in Bengaluru, where RCB's matches were played in front of packed stadiums.
In the meantime, Delhi Capitals won the game by 25 runs. RCB scored 169/9 while chasing 195 in 20 overs.
