Yadav, who had missed a couple of matches due to fitness problems, had been out for a duck in the first innings of the season. However, he returned to form and has scored 1 century and 3 fifties.
In all, he has scored 334 runs from 189 balls in 9 matches. The right-handed batsman has hit 35 fours and 18 sixes at an average of 41.75 and a strike-rate of 176.71.a
India will be looking to him for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. He was recently included in the squad and is likely to bat at number 4. Yadav is ranked number one in the ICC T20I batting rankings.
