Sachin praises Harshit Rana's impressive move against Heinrich Klaasen

Kolkata Knight Riders secured a thrilling four-run victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad at Eden Gardens. Andre Russell's all-round performance was instrumental in his team's success. Harshit Rana delivered a perfect final over to secure the win for the two-time champions. Heinrich Klaasen's aggressive batting nearly secured the win for SRH, but he was dismissed by Rana in the final over, sealing the match in KKR's favour. Klaasen scored 63 runs off 29 balls while chasing a target of 209 runs.

With 13 runs required off the final six deliveries, Klaasen had swung the game in Hyderabad's favour. Despite conceding a six off the first ball, Rana did not panic and dismissed Shahbaz Ahmed and Klaasen in three deliveries.

Rana successfully defended seven runs off the remaining five balls. He bowled a slower delivery to Klaasen. In the 19th over, Mitchell Starc attempted to bowl the yorkers but was unsuccessful, resulting in a 26-run over. Rana learned from Starc's mistakes and delivered a slower ball. Klaasen failed to connect and was caught by Suyash Sharma.

Well done.”

SRH required five runs off the final delivery, but Pat Cummins failed to connect with the ball. The Knight Riders will now face Royal Challengers Bengaluru on March 29.
