Indian fast bowler, 25, performs like Pakistan's fast bowlers

The emergence of new fast bowlers in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 is a positive sign for the Indian sub-continent team. Mayank Yadav, Khaleel Ahmed, Mohsin Khan and Yash Thakur have all performed well in this year’s competition. Former India players, Ambati Rayudu and Navjot Singh Sidhu, believe that Mohsin Khan is the standout performer.

The left-arm pacer has been highly effective for Lucknow Super Giants in the cash-rich league. However, he has been unable to participate in several matches due to injuries over three years.

In the LSG vs CSK match, the 25-year-old delivered a superb delivery to Rachin Ravindra. The southpaw missed it completely and was clean-bowled. Rayudu heaped significant praise on the young bowler.

Navjot Singh Sidhu drew a comparison between this individual and Mayank and Khaleel, who have demonstrated exceptional performance on behalf of LSG and the Delhi Capitals:

“His seem position is perfect. Mayank Yadav and Khaleel Ahmed are also bowling well but Mohsin is number one. India needs bowlers like him to win games. The selectors should pay attention to the youngster like him.”

Mohsin plays for Uttar Pradesh in domestic cricket. His performance in first-class and List A matches has not been as impressive as it could be. He has demonstrated his strengths in the shortest format, with an impressive 68 wickets taken in 48 T20 matches at an average of 17.59.
