The Lucknow Super Giants won the toss and invited the Chennai Super Kings to bat first

KL Rahul won the toss and invited Chennai Super Kings to bat first in the Indian Premier League 2024.

KL Rahul stated:

“Looks like a good wicket. We want to see Chennai Super Kings’ total. We haven’t made any blunders in our defeats. The team needs to grab the opportunities and make them count. The pitches have been good and we will have to take the responsibility."

KL Rahul also stated that Sammy Joseph had been dismissed and that Matt Henry would be playing for the team.

CSK would have bowled first as well. Moeen Ali will be replacing Daryl Mitchell, while Deepak Chahar will be replacing Shardul Thakur.
