Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have welcomed a baby boy and the actress has revealed his name

Indian cricket legend Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma have announced the birth of their second child, a baby boy named Akaay. Anushka Sharma shared the news on her official Instagram account, writing that they are thrilled to announce the arrival of baby boy Akaay, who was born on 15th February and is now the little brother of Vamika.

The statement on her Instagram post concluded with, "Love & Gratitude. Virat & Anushka."

Kohli and Anushka Sharma got married in 2017. The celebrity couple celebrated their daughter Vamika's third birthday on January 11, 2021.

In 2021, as the captain at the time, Kohli showed his commitment to family values by choosing to be by his wife's side for the birth of their first child, missing the first match of the 4-Test series against Australia.

Initially, he opted out of the first two Tests against England. India lost the first match in Hyderabad but secured victory in the second one in Vizag. Following this, he decided to withdraw from the entire series due to personal reasons, and received support from the BCCI for his decision.
