The last time India played in Pakistan was in 2008, with a bilateral series between the two countries discontinued since 2013.
A BCCI source mentioned that India will not go to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy and will request matches to be held in Dubai or Sri Lanka instead. The final decision on India's participation will depend on approval from the central government, as stated by BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla earlier in May.
