T20I for India against Zimbabwe
The Indian cricket team, led by Shubman Gill, has landed in Zimbabwe for a five-match T20I series. The team arrived in Harare with a fresh look, following their recent ICC T20 World Cup victory under Rohit Sharma's leadership.
VVS Laxman, the chief of the National Cricket Academy, will act as the interim head coach of the team. The series will kick off on July 6 at the Harare Sports Club, with all matches taking place at the same venue.
The final T20I is scheduled for July 14. The Indian squad includes young talents from the IPL, with players like Riyan Parag and Abhishek Sharma getting the opportunity to showcase their skills.
The matches will start at 4:30 PM IST and will be broadcast live on the Sony Sports Network in India. Viewers can also stream the matches on the SonyLIV app or website.
The BCCI has made some changes to the squad, with Sai Sudharsan, Jitesh Sharma, and Harshit Rana joining the team for the first two T20Is, replacing Sanju Samson, Shivam Dube, and Yashasvi Jaiswal. India's updated squad for the first two games includes players like Ruturaj Gaikwad, Washington Sundar, and Ravi Bishnoi, alongside captain Shubman Gill.
