Former Australia spinner Brad Hogg was impressed with the performances of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sarfaraz Khan in the recently concluded five-Test series against England. Jaiswal was named player of the series after scoring 712 runs, including two double centuries.
But Hogg says the left-hander will have to change his game to score runs on Australia's pace and bouncy tracks:
“Jaiswal played well against England. He will be visiting Australia in December. He will have to use the pace to play hook and pull shots instead of hitting the ball hard. If he wants to play aggressive shots against the Aussies, he needs to add more strokes to his batting arsenal.”
Yashasvi has scored 1028 runs at an average of 68.5 in 9 Tests. Hogg was pleased to see Sarfaraz Khan batting well against the England pacers.
