Celebrations in the dressing room as RCB's winning streak continues

RCB stays in the play-off race after beating DC at home. After a terrible start to the season, Royal Challengers Bengaluru have won five consecutive matches in the Indian Premier League 2024. Prior to their recent winning streak, RCB had lost six games in a row and were on the brink of elimination from the competition.

The Bengaluru side made some tactical adjustments. In the dressing room, the RCB team erupted in celebration after beating Delhi Capitals. The celebration was unlike anything seen so far in IPL 2024, with the coaching staff praising every player who performed well. Rajat Patidar and Cameron Green can be seen having a great time in a video shared by RCB.

RCB head coach Andy Flower had earlier spoken of the change in approach from the top order, who looked more aggressive. Flower also praised the bowling unit, saying they had done their best to be as aggressive as possible in terms of length and options:

“Virat and Faf led from the start and the rest of the squad has been excellent. I believe we saw a strong performance in the powerplay by Siraj and Yash. Both have shown great skill and determination with the new ball.”

If RCB beats CSK at home in their final league match on 18 May, they will have a slim chance of making the play-offs. With 12 points from 13 games, they have climbed to fifth place in the table. SRH, CSK, RR and KKR are ahead of RCB. While the other teams are just one win away from a play-off spot, KKR have already clinched it.
