Ambati Rayudu, a former player for India and Chennai Super Kings, suggested that a book should be written about the team's success in cricket.
Rayudu was a member of the CSK team when they won their fifth title in 2023. During the trophy presentation, team captain MS Dhoni asked Rayudu to accept the trophy from BCCI President Roger Binny and Secretary Jay Shah as a sign of respect for their retiring teammate.
Ambati believes that a book should be written about the five-time champions:
“It is time to write a book on Chennai Super Kings, and the world should read it on how to play cricket, captain a team, and make a squad. CSK should be a role model for the world of cricket.”
When asked to predict the two finalists of the Indian Premier League 2024, Rayudu responded, 'The Men in Yellow will reach the final, and the other team will be the one that wears a blue jersey.'
When reminded that many franchises wear blue jerseys, he suggested leaving it up to the fans to guess.
