CSK emerged triumphant against SRH, with a final score of 78 runs

In the second game, medium pacer Tushar Deshpande achieved 4-27 in three overs, as Hyderabad was bowled out for 134 runs in 18.5 overs in pursuit of Chennai’s imposing 212-3.

Gaikwad proceeded to achieve another significant score, following up on his century in the previous game. He achieved 10 fours and three sixes, thereby enabling his team to reach a total of over 200.

Daryl Mitchell demonstrated his ability to score runs by contributing 52 runs off 32 balls. He also added 107 runs off 64 balls with Gaikwad.

The final contribution to the total came from Shivam Dube, who scored 39 not out.

Despite the adverse weather conditions, Hyderabad’s batting lineup once again failed to meet the required standard when faced with a 200-plus target.

Travis Head was dismissed for 13 runs, while Abhishek Sharma was out for 15 runs. Both batsmen were dismissed by Deshpande, who also had the wicket of impact player Anmolpreet Singh.

Hyderabad was reduced to 40-3 in 3.5 overs and was unable to recover from the early setbacks.

Aiden Markram was the top-scorer, with a 26-ball 32. Mr. Heinrich Klaasen was unable to reach 20 runs off 21 balls.

The pacers Mustafizur Rahman (2-19) and Matheesha Pathirana (2-17) also contributed to the team's overall performance.

Chennai has returned to winning ways after losing its last two games and is now back in the top four with 10 points from nine games. It is currently placed behind the second-placed Kolkata Knight Riders on the net run-rate.

The Sunrisers suffered their second consecutive loss, dropping them to fourth place. They are now ahead of the Lucknow Super Giants and Delhi Capitals on run-rate, with all three teams tied on 10 points.
