Deepak Chahar has discussed the new captain of Chennai Super Kings. The pacer claimed two wickets, including the prized scalp of Gujarat Titans’ skipper Shubman Gill, as CSK won the game by 63 runs.
The Titans managed 143/8 in 20 overs while chasing 207 runs. Deepak spoke to Sunil Gavaskar after the match. The legendary cricketer was asked about taking instructions from Dhoni until last season but has now turned his attention to new skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad.
Deepak said:
“It is a bit confusing at the moment. We are still used to taking instructions from MS Dhoni. However, we are trying to turn our attention towards Ruturaj Gaikwad but it will take time.”
Deepak Chahar stated that there is no advantage for bowlers in T20 cricket.
He shed light on the two bouncers rule in the Indian Premier League. The Board of Control for Cricket in India has allowed two bouncers in one over to give some firepower to the bowlers.
