Former player Sanjay Manjrekar has made a significant statement about the future of the sub-continent team following England's loss to India. India played without Virat Kohli, Mohammed Shami, and KL Rahul. Ashwin took 5 wickets in the second innings, folding England for 195 runs in Dharamsala. India's visitors failed to surpass their score of 477, resulting in a significant loss. In the first innings, Kuldeep Yadav exposed England by taking five wickets.
Regarding the five-match Test series, Manjrekar praised spinner Kuldeep.
