SRH vs. RR Qualifier 2: On Friday, when RR plays SRH, Yuzvendra Chahal and Heinrich Klaasen will square off in a decisive match.

In the IPL 2024 Qualifier 2 on Friday, Sunrisers Hyderabad will play Rajasthan Royals in an attempt to advance to the championship game. After placing second in the league, SRH lost to the Kolkata Knight Riders in the first qualifying round. In the meantime, RR defeated Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the Eliminator after finishing third in the league. In the IPL 2024 championship game, the victor of Qualifier 2 will face KKR.

This season, the two teams only met once, and it was a run-fest as SRH narrowly prevailed by one run. RR was confined to 200/7 in 20 overs while chasing 202, despite half-centuries from Yashasvi Jaiswal (67) and Riyan Parag (77). Bhuvneshwar Kumar, for RR, claimed three wickets in the meanwhile.

At first, SRH scored 201/3 in 20 overs thanks to half-centuries from Travis Head (58*) and Nitish Kumar Reddy (76*). Avesh Khan claimed two wickets for RR's bowling unit.

One intriguing matchup heading into Qualifier 2 will be SRH wicketkeeper-batter Heinrich Klaasen versus RR spinner Yuzvendra Chahal. Chahal had a bad outing against SRH in the league phase, returning with numbers of 0/62. In the meantime, Klaasen struck an undefeated forty-two off just 19 balls, complete with three fours and three sixes.
