“Virat would want to win T20 World Cup for India and IPL title for RCB”
Reports suggest that Virat Kohli may not be included in the Indian team for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024.
According to the Telegraph, the BCCI and management have decided not to consider Kohli for the global event. Chief selector Ajit Agarkar has been tasked with informing Kohli, and is expected to speak with the former India captain.
But Harbhajan Singh, who played with Kohli, does not agree with the idea of him having problems in the shortest format.
“Cricket is the most essential thing for Virat. He is also a family man. Virat hasn’t played cricket for a long time, but whenever he returns to the field, we will see old Kohli.”
The right-handed batsman has been absent from action for several months. He chose not to participate in the five-match Test series against England and has not yet reported for the upcoming season of IPL.
