Travis Head stunned RCB with a blistering century, scoring 100 runs off just 39 balls, including 9 fours and 8 sixes

In his debut IPL season, Travis Head shocked the Royal Challengers Bengaluru by scoring a century in just 39 balls. His innings included 9 fours and 8 sixes, putting the hosts on the backfoot. This is the fourth century of the Indian Premier League 2024 and the fourth fastest in the tournament's history.

He scored 102 runs off 41 balls before Lockie Ferguson dismissed him. The left-hander has been in excellent form for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 17th season.

Head partnered with Abhishek Sharma for the opening wicket, adding 108 runs. Abhishek scored 34 runs, and the pair batted together for 8.1 overs.

Travis stitched a 57-run partnership with Heinrich Klaasen, who is currently one of the most dangerous T20 batters. Sunrisers have won three games and lost two.

However, Royal Challengers Bengaluru have lost five out of six matches played so far and are currently placed 10th in the points table.

In the earlier match, RCB captain Faf du Plessis won the toss and elected to bowl first against Hyderabad. The home team left out Glenn Maxwell and Mohammed Siraj from the playing XI.
