Virat Kohli, the star Indian batter, was recently spotted strolling through a London street, and the brief video clip of him crossing the road has gone viral on social media. Kohli had travelled back to London after participating in India's ODI series against Sri Lanka, where he had a subdued performance, struggling to convert starts on challenging Colombo pitches.
The video shows Kohli seemingly alone, casually crossing the street. His visit to London follows his participation in India’s T20 World Cup celebrations and spending time with his wife, Anushka Sharma, and their newborn, Akaay, in the city. Kohli and Anushka had also attended a kirtan at Union Chapel during their previous visit, with Anushka sharing glimpses on social media.
Despite speculations about his possible participation in the Duleep Trophy, Kohli is skipping the tournament. He is expected to return to action in India's upcoming home Test series against Bangladesh. Following that, India has a busy home season, including three Tests against New Zealand before heading to Australia for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
